Operated by Irish immigrant Thomas Stenson, it is located at 795 Adams Street. Described by a billboard on the building as “a gentlemen’s prestige bar,” it admits women in 1981 and hires its first female bartender, Nicole Eaton, in 2018. The bar is run today by Stenson’s son, John.
